Meizu presents (finally) an update schedule

While Chinese users receive updates on a quasi-weekly basis. The overall version of Flyme (Flyme G) is slightly behind by prioritizing big updates over a 3 to 4 month cycle. But for some time the grumbling was beginning to mount among users and messages asking for more clarity were multiplying on the official forum.

Today’ui Meizu responded in a message posted on the official forum by publishing a calendar of updates.

As we can see, the Meizu 16th 16 – X8 – M8 – Note 8 will be the first to be served. Meizu says the other models will also have the right to a calendar in the coming weeks.

It is important to note that no version of Flyme is given but these dates coincide with the release of Flyme 7.3 in China for exactly the same models. Flyme 7.3 is presented as a big system evolution. This new version brings a lot of new features and optimizations including:
A revamped design, the introduction of OneMind 3.0 that increases overall performance and halves latency, new animations and transitions, new gestures, Super Mode Night for low-light photos and improvement general photo and video processing and finally a new interface more comfortable for quick response to notifications that allows you to respond to notifications without leaving the active page…

For the French market, the problem related to sim cards is also being corrected. In particular, Meizu admitted that it had to face a shortage of engineers and that it had undertaken a serious reorganization of its international department at the end of 2018 to improve the services offered to users.
