Remember A few years ago, Meizu was an unwavering partner of Mediatek. The latter had even decided to invest in Meizu in 2015 alongside Alibaba for an amount that remained unknown. At that time, all Meizu smartphones were systematically equipped with Mediatek processors, from entry-level to high-end except for Exynos processors designed with Pro versions.

Today times have changed, in the space of a year and against the backdrop of a patent war, almost all Meizu smartphones are now powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chips.
For the year 2019, the manufacturer does not seem to want to change strategy since Founder Jack Wong announced on the Chinese social network Weibo that they planned for this year 2019 to release no less than 3 smartphones equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 855.

We already knew that the successor to the Meizu 16th, the Meizu 16s will be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 in its 2 versions: Standard and Plus. In contrast Jack Wong has lifted the veil on another smartphone that could be a certain Meizu 16T (Turbo). It would be a gaming-oriented smartphone, with a battery between 4200mah and 4500mah for a screen of 6.5 inches or more, which would retain a design similar to the Meizu 16th.

Enough to satisfy game lovers!
